Q: Why can't I burn down my own sides tent or kill my own side's commanders?Ī: Because again, they may be essential to a quest. This was done to prevent you from breaking the questline accidentally. Q: Why can't I burn down tents or kill commanders?Ī: Because you need to complete the Jagged Crown in the Civil War questline. If for any reason you don't like my mod or are having issues, there is an alternative: Killable Generals by texashokies It might conflict with Civil War Overhaul, but it may also not! Be sure to save, before installing the mod! Safety first! :DĪfter the Civil War - Siege Damage Repairs by tarlazo I am not aware of any conflicts as of yet. I will rely on your feedback to help improve this mod. Many locations are not enabled unless you are far enough along in the story on one side or the other.
Destroying a camp will earn the player money delivered by a courier on behalf of your side's general.Īs of this time I have not tested this mod 100%.
In some locations either General may use that camp as a symbol of their power. You can now go into enemy encampments and burn them to the ground as well as kill the commanding officer. Even when traveling the road I'd be attacked by these butthole invincible guys, getting my jimmies all rustled and there was nothing I could do. When entering an enemy encampment I could kill everyone except the commander, even after the war had been won. I had a problem with the civil war for as long as I could remember. Also packaged FaceTint/Geom for the hanging commanders (I use HMB II, may appear gray faced for other configs as with any mod added NPCs). bsl file from mod package, apparently this isn't really needed. bodies did not always attach correctly, instead being on the ground instead of on the rope. It adds more events that cause the body to attach to the rope, hopefully resulting in a more consistant experience. Added a new script "CWAHangedManScript", an improved version of the "HangedManScript" vanilla script. If you are currently playing with the mod and didn't complete the civil war, use the console command "setstage CWACleanupQuest 2" this will stop the quest. If anyone wants my simple implementation, it should still be accessible as "setstage CWACleanupQuest 0" via console. They will be linked in the mod description. However, other mods now handle this better and I recommend using them. This quest was responsible for repairing destruction caused by the civil war. Disabled the quest "CWACleanupQuest" from automatic start up. The horses are now associated to their correct factions and imperial horses use the imperial saddle. This prevents crashing when stealing and riding off on a horse when the camp has just been destroyed.
Replaced horses with CWA variants they do not respawn and do not enable/disalble with the camp they are located at.
